With approximately two million visits annually, the University Library connects students and faculty with virtual and printed information, research instruction and guidance, and space for independent and collaborative study. We also provide users with the latest technology and tools, enabling them to analyze and visualize data, or to express themselves through professional-grade 3D printing, video, audio, and design resources.

With your support, the University Library will:

  • Expand the digital library to preserve and broaden access to academic and creative works of the Northeastern community, as well as to priceless archival collections from community and social justice groups
  • Establish partnerships with academic disciplines across campus to organize and preserve data-driven research in innovative ways
  • Reimagine study spaces, technology, software, and services to better serve students and faculty, and to facilitate high-level academic work
  • Acquire the latest and most relevant collections, databases, books, and journals to deliver the richest content possible to our global community

Join Northeastern as we build the academic research library of the future, and enrich the research, teaching, and learning environment.

“I’m thrilled to direct such a wonderful library and to collaborate with people across the university. Northeastern’s spirit of innovation is tremendously exciting, and I look forward to expanding existing initiatives and partnering to envision and build new ones.”

—Daniel J. Cohen, Dean
