The Women Who Empower Ambassadors Program
Our Women Who Empower Ambassador program comprises emerging leaders from diverse, global backgrounds who have shown a passion and commitment for magnifying the mission and values of the university’s Women Who Empower initiative.
Ambassadors listen, learn, and connect with one another by sharing their personal and professional journeys. They amplify the voices and stories within the Northeastern community and lead efforts to elevate Women Who Empower.
By coming together, these individuals effect bold, meaningful change within our network, at the university, and around the world—and encourage and inspire others to do the same.

International Women’s Week 2021 at Northeastern University
This year, instead of having one day long International Women’s Day celebration, the IWC will be hosting a week-long celebration dedicated to showcasing all of (or at least a lot of) the wonderful women at Northeastern. Additionally, we are proud that this week will be co-sponsored by a number of our IWOC organizations, meaning that for the first time in university history, the women’s organizations on campus will be working together for an interdisciplinary IWD event! The week will feature ten different panels and five workshops each centered around highlighting the work and achievements of Women at Northeastern.
